Prague Airport

The Prague International Airport (PRG)

is an air gate to the Czech Republic. The airport provides daily connection from/to major European cities. Other destinations can be reached via the airports in Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam or Paris, where you have to change planes. The airport called Ruzyne is located on the northwest edge of the city. In the Arrival Terminal houses a post office, bank and exchange counters and a restaurant. In the Departure Terminal you will find shops, restaurants, fast food and airline agencies counters. The town centre can be reached by cars, shuttle vans or buses, whose stops are situated in front of the Arrival Terminal:

Shuttle vans


CEDAZ runs shuttle vans (every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) between the airport and the city centre for CZK 90. The ride in a comfortable van takes about 30 minutes. Tickets are available on the board. Vans for eight passengers runs to (and from) Namesti Republiky (subway station line "B" - just in the centre of the city)

Public city transport


Public city transport  runs bus No. 119 between the airport and the Dejvicka metro station. The ride takes about 25 minutes.

Dejvicka –  Airport: Mon – Sun 4.52 -0.18 - every 10 minutes (at weekends about every 20 minutes) 
Airport – Dejvicka: Mon – Sun 4.25 – 23.40

Public city transport bus No.100 runs between airport and the Zlicin metro station (line B) and the journey takes about 15 minutes

Zlicin – Airport: Mon – Sun 5.44 – 23.40 - every 30 minutes 
Airport – Zlicin: Mon - Sun 5.27 – 23.50

Do not forget to buy a CZK 20 ticket from a newsstand or the yellow machine at the bus stop. From  Dejvicka or Zlicin metro station you can go  to the city centre without having to buy a new ticket  (ticket for 20 CZK is valid for 75 minutes). 

Cars

Fix runs cars from the airport to any place in the city. Cars are easily recognized as Volkswagen Passat sedans with a Visa Credit Card ad on the door. The driver will charge you a fixed price for a ride to the city (from CZK 120 to 770, according to the city zone). All cars have air conditioning and are fast and comfortable.
